As much as I'm looking forward to being home with my family and friends I will certainly MISS this wonderful sunshine and beach!! Ahhhhh, it's been blissfully awesome! Thank you, Jesus!! ANYWAY, I am putting this card into the following challenges. The card got mailed out to Sue Chaney.

Creative Corner Challenge - spring has sprung

Sentimental Sundays Challenge 252 - springtime...flowers

I used My Favorite Things stamps and dies, and, of course, my Copic markers.
The wonderful stitched dies are from Lil' Inker Designs.

MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 255

Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Fox  and Friends Challenge 255
- Butterfly Birthday Card -

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

I started this card by stamping my butterflies and coloring them with Copic markers, adding a sparkle gel pen for...yes...sparkle. I then cut the edge around the bottom of the butterflies. I used white ribbon and colored it with a Copic marker...I LOVE my Copics!! Add a couple of die cuts for my sentiment, a couple of gems and the front is complete! I took a scrap piece of my designer paper and added that to the inside, but low enough to show behind the butterflies. I also stamped a butterfly for the inside as well. Thanks for looking!

I used MFP stamp set "Bearded Iris".

Such a simply fun card to make. My minion was made using the Stampin'Up Owl punch. I printed the minion sentiment from a Word document that I created, oooo big deal! lol A little glue and some crystal lacquer for the eyes and done! The dotted stitched die cut is from Lil'Inker Designs

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 237

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 237 - Shaker Card

Here's my card for the design team.

Shaker cards can either make me or break me. lol This one was fun to me. I loved working with this darling little bunny from Sweet n Sassy. I used Copic markers for my coloring. The shaker plastic circle was from The Paper Cut (years ago! lol) I added some crystal circles, some colored with Copics, for the "shaker" part of the card. To make my flower I glued two pieces of white cardstock together, using an Elmer's type of glue. Then, when it was completely dried I stamped my flower and then cut it out. I then added a clear lacquer to it. When the lacquered has dried the flower becomes pliable for shaping your petals. Works great on butterflies too. I added a gem and a bit of ribbon for the finishing touches. Thanks for looking!

Thanks to Sweet n Sassy for the adorable images!!

Still time to get involved with the current challenge at Tuesday Throwdown.

MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 254

Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 254
- who let the dogs out? -

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

I used multiple layers to pull this card together. I colored my pooch with Copic markers and dotted lines around him. I actually cut the stamp "Ruff Day?" so I could just stamp Ruff onto my die cut bones. By having the stamp cut I was able to angle them in a fun way next to the dog. I did use a white pen to enhance the puppy's eyes. I used brads to attach my die cuts. The brads were actually white and I colored them using Copics. I wanted them to match my dog's collar.
Gotta love Copic markers!!

I used MFP stamp set "Fabulous Pets".

This lovely butterfly card arrived for
Gerri! All the butterflies are raised
and the pearls really add beauty!

This is the cutie one I received, sadly it
didn't photo well so Sue's coloring isn't
showing up decent, BUT, that little raccoon
is just adorable!! I loved the tree charm too!

A Card For Challenges!

I made this card for Sue Chaney and popped it in the mail today, soooo she hasn't even received it yet. In the meantime I figured I would enter it into a few challenges.

My Time To Craft 283 - for a special lady

Moving Along With The Times - Bingo! Dies-Image-Gems/Pearls

I had a so much fun using My Favorite Things stamps and dies! I used daubers to add the blue to the "sky" and a piece of green cardstock for the "grass". I colored all my images using Copic marks and/or sparkle gel pens. I used a white pen for the little girlie's freckles and popped in a couple of gems for the flower's centers.

Here's a CASology Challenge 137 Card

Since I'm in Florida I really felt I had to
join in on this challenge...

I masked a rectangle on a white layer and used daubers
to sponge in the colors for my "ocean" scene.
I used an Inkadinkado image to stamp the beach sign.
I added another layer of color and dotted lines around both
and mounted on to my white card base. Very simple!

More Cards from Sue Chaney!! WOO HOO!!!

It's been so much fun getting the mail! Yahoo!!
Here are a couple more of Susie's talent!!

This was for Gerri when her mom passed away last month.

I loved the snappy fold and great image. As always, Sue's detail
for embellishing is awesome!

This was the inside flap. TOOOO CUTE!!!

Last, but certainly NOT least is this cutesy little bear.
Softly colored, I love it, and the little hearts were
the right added touch!

In Florida!!

It's been a bit cool here in Florida and even COLD sometimes
BUT it's not single digits, or snow, or WI! The weather is
ranging anywhere from 50s one day to 80s the next day.
It's almost like living on Lake Michigan. hehe...Cooler by the
lake, or OCEAN! For some pics and more info on my time
here in FL...click HERE and stay warm!!
