Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

I think this is such a cute stamp set and I just colored my fox with Copics and cut him out. I used some matching design paper and some layers. I took a white panel piece and just scribbled (ok, I doodled. lol) a border then stamped my sentiment.  Easy peasy.

I used MFP stamp set "Animal Birthdays".

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 254

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 254 - Christmas in July

Here's my card for the design team.

I started this card by using a Christmas embossing folder on the red cardstock. I found a pretty designer paper with some gold in it and layered both on a glossy gold piece, adding a strip along the top of the pattern. Naturally I needed a pretty gold sparkly ribbon/bow. I took my cute little baby, Jesus, and colored Him with Copic markers, adding a sparkle pen to the star. I used a gold leafing pen to edge the panel and mounted it to add dimension. Boom done! :-)

I masked my horizon then used daubers to get my sky and water look. I tore some cardstock for a sandy appearance, using a dauber to ink the edges. I stamped my image and colored my gull and pilings using Copic markers. I used some brown twine for the "rope" around the pilings. I mounted the image up for dimension. I die cut out some clouds, stamped the sentiment and ta da!
Thanks for looking!!

I used MFP stamp set "Gullible" and "Island Life" for the sentiment.

This was an interesting challenge. I embossed my rose in white and took coordinating Copic marker and shaded my rose. Not very noticeable but it did give it some depth. I used a gold leafing pen to edge around the rose panel. A couple of matching designer papers, stamp the sentiment, a white ribbon  here's my finished card.

I used MFP stamp sets "Roses"
and "Great Flowers" for the sentiment.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 252

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 252 - no pattern paper

Here's my card for the design team.

Lately I've found that I use very little pattern paper and this challenge was an easy one for me. lol I masked a rectangle and used daubers to apply the background. I started with the star and the  yellow. I then stamped, in black, the Bethlehem town (from Gina Kay). I removed the mask and layered the cardfront on black. Then I got to color (using Copic markers) my
adorable digi from Robyn's Fetsh!
I then cut out and raised my image and attached it to the main card.

Thanks sooooooooo much!
