MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 277

Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Fox  and Friends Challenge 277

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

I used an embossing folder and dotted around the edges. Just black ink and the right
stamps finish off this card quickly and easily. It seems that deaths happen quickly and
never seem to be expected, even when we are expecting it sometimes. But...then...I'm never in the mood to make a card then, so fast and easy is the best.

I used MFP stamp set "Marsh Silhouettes".

Again I was in a layering mood, using a candle embossing folder for my background. I stamped my sentiment BEFORE I embossed the candles. I stamped and colored the rose with Copics and cut it out and mounted it on the front.

I used MFP stamp set "Roses"
and
"Great Flowers".

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 258

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 258 - Texture

Join in HERE!

Here's my card for the design team.

I just loved using ALL the Lawn Fawn products, from the design papers, die cuts, stamps, right down to the baker's twine/thread. The design papers are double-sided and just having two pieces made it easy to create this card's scene. Don't need to go into creating details because it's all viewable...is that a word??? lol It works for me! Thanks for stopping by!

I'm beginning to think all my cards have the same look and ease in creativity. Hmmm, bad idea??? Nope! I LOVE easy! lol So, once again my card is lots of layers and coloring. I liked the border punch on two sides idea. I used Copics to color my cougar.  DONE! Yep, just that easy! hehe

I used MFP stamp set "North American Woods".

First of all...YES..the red's DO match. LOL Not sure why my stamped image looks so pink, but alas, it does. hehe Anyway I use a dot embossing folder for the main red piece of cardstock. I wanted the stamp I used to look like a quilt hanging on a clothes line. That's where my baker's twine came into play. I attached the twine using glue dots. I had just the perfect tiny clothes pins and I mounted the "quilt" for dimension. I added a strip of matching kraft and stamped my little hello there.

I used MFP stamp set "Polka Dot Country"
and
"Tree Greetings" for the sentiment.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 256

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 256 - Sketch

Here's my card for the design team.

Such adorable digis from My Grafico and I just did some layering, to follow the sketch. I embossed the white panel. I cut out the images and colored them with Copics. For the mermaid, after I colored her fins then took a rag and added some Copic blending solution and pressed it on the fins. It then picks up some of the color giving the fin a more realistic look. For the turtle I added some crystal glazing and mounted him above a die cut scroll. Naturally I needed some gems for her bracelet and necklace. That's it!

Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 273
- Weaved center (tutorial HERE) -

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

This was a fun card to make. I went to the tutorial and then I found some coordinating papers to create my weave. I used a glue dot to hold the weave in place then I used glue to attach the weave to my main card front. I used Copic markers to make my owl and I just had to add the googly eyes. They are just too perfect for him. I made a panel and stamped my sentiment and drew on the owl's feet. I went around the edges using my gold leafing pen. I mounted the sentiment and owl and added a circle behind the owl to help him stand out better.

I used MFP stamp set "Animal Birthdays".
