MFP Stamp Challenge 9

MFP Stamp Challenge 9
Color Challenge - Brown

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I enjoy using browns so I enjoyed making this card.
Trust me, I will use it for one of my coffee lovin' friends
too. I stamped my image and colored it using my
Copic markers. I cut out the image, the hardest part of
this entire card. lol. Once stamped and mounted onto
the card I stamped my sentiment and that was it.
I did consider dripping coffee on it but was afraid it
would be too much...but I may try it in the future. lol

I used MFP stamp set

"Java Time"
and
" Oh, Beans"

Here's my card for
DAY 4
Using the 3 hearts I die cut out of my heart background
from a previous card and made them into balloons
for this card. Again, I stamped and colored my little
bunny using Copic markers. I added some twine for
balloon strings and raised each balloon with my trusty
mounting tape. I stamped my sentiment and that was it!

Stamps can be found in MFP Stamp Shop.

Some Cards

I might be in FL but that doesn't mean my stamping
takes a break...HA! There's plenty of windy or rainy
days, soooo STAMPING time! There are some great
people here at Summerhouse and I made these cards
and a simple, plain, card box. Lee is a sweet lady in
her mid 70s and has energy and life and a sweet
heart. She liked my cards and I was delighted to
know that she would "love" to have some. DONE!

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 3
Ok...I used a different bunny for this card. I colored
him using Copic markers and used an oval die cut to
cut him out. I took a piece of my heart background
paper again and layered it on white after I added a
ribbon. I used mounting tape to raise my bunny up
for dimension and a small tag with my sentiment
was all I needed to finish this. :-)

Stamps can be found in MFP Stamp Shop.

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 2

Here's my little bunny again. I just die cut out a few
hearts from my heart background paper. I stamped
my bunny and colored him with my Copic markers,
naturally...lol... I used a silver CS for my main front,
adding a layer of white. I took mounting tape and
applied it to the back of the heart background paper.
I cut out my bunny and placed him so he could peek
though one of the hearts. I attached the heart paper
and the bunny to another piece of silver CS and
assembled my card to completion after I added my
sentiment to lower left corner. That was raised as well.

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 1
I don't have too many bunny stamps so this little
fellow got to be my main image. lol I used a
heart stencil and masked my bunny so I could
use a red ink to sponge in the hearts. I colored
my bunny with Copic markers and stamped
my sentiment and that's about it. Easy Peasy!

MFP Stamp Challenge 8

MFP Stamp Challenge 8
Different Kind of Card:  Z-fold card

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

Z-fold cards are always fun to make and look so cool
when finish. I stamped my image and used a die cut to
give it the scallop circle. I colored it with my Copics
and added some dots around the edge of the scallop to
take away the stark white look. Before I put the flower
onto the card I put Z-fold piece of white, the whole
thing, into an embossing folder. I then added my flower.
I stamped an extra flower so I could cut out my two
bees and raise them up with mounting tape.
Since the white Z-fold was completely embossed now
I took another piece of white CS and made my center
for the card. All finished!

I used MFP stamp set

"Bring On the Sun"

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 281

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 281
- layer it up -

Here's my card for the design team.

I printed out my image, Ladybug & Me, from ADFD
and colored it using Copic markers. I added some lighter
blue to the "sky" and stamped a sentiment
(My Favorite Things). I added some sparkle gel pen
to give her some "fairy dust" glitz! (see below)
I used an embossing folder to the bottom of the card
and ran a bit of ribbon on the edge. Add a couple
of gems, Layer, layer, layer and finished!!

Fun Challenges!!

I am finally taking a day in FL to stamp...55 degrees
and WINDY! Good day to stay inside, even though
it's a sunny day!

These are the challenges I'm entering this card.

A Gem of a Challenge 162 - love is in the air
Cards in Envy - from the heart

I took a stencil for my hearts and sponged
two different shade of pink to create the
hearts. I used MFTs stamp set "Tweet on You"
and matching die cuts for my bird and sentiment.
I colored my little bird with Copic markers
and added a couple of gems for bling, of course.
Thanks for stopping by!

MFP Stamp Challenge 6

MFP Stamps Challenge 6
CAS Theme - hearts
(CAS=Cards can not have more than 1 other
full layer besides the card base. There needs to
be a one stamped image as your focal point.
There needs to be lots of white or open space.)

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
My Clean and Simple card is mainly white. As if
you couldn't tell. lol  First of all I masked my card,
leaving just a small part of my main front showing.
Using daubers I added 3 different inks in shades
of reds and pinks. After I removed my masks, I
stamped the key and sentiment in black and made
my layers to complete the card.

I used MFP stamp set
"Keys"

Here's my VERY simple card to the challenge.

This card was made for my niece, who happens
to have it on Valentine's Day. I'm pretty sure
this doesn't need much in the way of directions.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 279

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 279
- piece it together (paper piecing) -

Here's my card for the design team.

I want to thank Robyn's Fetish for sponsoring this challenge.
Well, this was new to me...paper piecing digital stamps. I had
no idea how to do it, soooo, I experimented and this is what I
did. I printed my image twice. I cut out the heart, that is what
I paper pieced, and traced it on my pattern paper and cut it
out. Once I colored my main image, using Copic markers,
I then glued the pattern piece to it. I think it worked nicely.
I added a dotted edge around the image and stamped "happy"
in the heart. I used some lacquer for bear's noses. :-)
I used a dotted ribbon and matching colored threads for a
bow and stamped "valentine's day" and put my
card together and that was it!!
