Here's my card for inspiration...

Making cards is such a lovely, relaxing
time and especially when I can share the
cards with friends on their birthdays!
I found some cute pattern paper to accent
the cards and colored the images to
coordinate with the paper. Copics were my
go to markers today. I extended the
balloon strings and put some white gel pen
dashes on the balloons. The first card I
stamped the sentiment right on the base
card front and the second card I made
a raised up, layered sentiment.

This was made for a friend's birthday.
I know I love getting happy mail and
this set was just right. It's Puppy Mail
and a great set from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I cut out the mailbox and puppy after
I colored them with Copic markers.
I made a wavy green hill to attach to
the blue background. I used die cuts for
the sun and clouds and stamped my
sentiment to complete the card. Here's
the inside. I am sure my friend will smile.
Yup, gotta love
and I do!

Here's my card for the challenge...
Well, I needed a special card again. This
one for my almost 6 year old grandson, LJ.
On Friday, June 13th, he is getting his
adenoids and tonsils out and getting
tubes in his ears. Sooo, his momma asked
a bunch of us to mail him Get Well cards
for when he gets home. He should have
a nice pile to open. Send up prayers for
him AND his mom, who needs peace.
Ok, enough of my rambling.
For my card, I started with the perfect
background cardstock. Then I got out
I tried to coordinate the coloring of the
stamped images to blend in with the
scenic background paper. I did the best
I could using my Copic markers. The
colored images were cut out and attached
to the card front. The truck was flat while
I raised up the "LJ" little boy
and the sentiment was stamped on
a die cut tag. The "feel better" came from
a random set, the "ice cream" is from
Sunbird's stamp set and I hand printed
the word "eat."
The music notes from the set were stamped
directly on the card front.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see
your entries in the Current Challenge.

VS has such beautiful images and stamps!
It's awesome that she is kind enough to sponsor
PIP Challenges! Please be sure to visit her site
or find her actual stamps at RubberStamps.com!!
Here's my card for this week
using "Easy Layering Florals 1" (sentiment)
I needed 3 anniversary cards this month
and Varada's stamps and sentiments
managed to fill my need happily! My Copics
were used to color my images. The Brothers
Scan n Cut cut the flowers out perfectly!
First I stamped the leaves directly onto my
card front, as well as the sentiment.
I added some white gel pen dots to a few
of the flowers and raise it up with mounting
tape. A coordinating colored cardstock
added just the right "pop" for the flowers.

Here are my cards
I needed two guy cards and they are
both football fans, one in Kansas, so
red and white Chiefs (and sometimes a
Packer fan)
and green and gold for the
other guy who is a Packer fan.
I had fun using my Copics to color the
bears. At least neither guy is a
Chicago Bears fan!! lol!! These bears
are ok!! I embossed the main background
and stamped the sentiment on the white.
I added mounting tape to raise up the bear.
These are the insides of each card.

I love all my goodies from Newton's Nook

sure to go shopping!!
Here are my cards...

I love squirrels, most of the time, so this
was the ideal image for my hubby's birthday.
The images were colored with my Copics.
I found a stamp set that had the perfect
sentiments and acorn to accent the
cute squirrels from Pattie's Creations.

and this card
using "Thinking of You"
Such a lovely image from Pattie's Creations.
The sentiment was a part of the image.
I used this for an anniversary card for
friends that got married on my birthday,
many years ago! It was colored with Copics
and I added some random dots. The butterfly
needed some glitz so I used a sparkle pen.

PIP Challenge 2519

 Welcome!
Time to join in the challenge with
Polkadoodles as this week's sponsor!!
YAY!
We REALLY appreciate our sponsors!

Here's my card
I had so much fun using all the goodies
from Polkadoodles! The digital paper was
an ideal fit with my Copic colored cactus.
Of course, the sentiment was just right too.
I added a few white dots to the pot design
and a dot in the cheek blush. And as I tend
to do...mounting tape was used to raise
up the cute little cactus.
I had a great die cut banner for the sentiment
and the rest was finding the coordinating
papers and layering to finish. I made it
into a birthday card for a friend!!

Here's my card for the challenge...

using "Bee Happy"

inside
I've been using this set Bee HappyA LOT
lately because it's such a fun set to work
with and I have many birthdays coming up.
Soooo, you will see more in the future.
Firstly, I found a printed background
paper that seemed like a good fit with
my little bees. Using the
right color to coordinate with the
background. I then cut another one
out of white so I had the white additions
to the card front. The white hexagon
will be used on another Bee day card.
There are matching
dies for the stamps. I colored all the
images with Copic markers and some of
the dotted bee trails were my own.  lol
The bees were raised up using mounting
tape. A touch of a clear sparkle pen on the
wings gave the finished bees a bit of
"bee"ling. tsk tsk. I added a couple
of flowers to finish the card.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see
your entries in the Current Challenge.

Here are my projects for this challenge...

These were soooo easy to make and fun too.
The Cutting Café offers so many ideas
and all you really need is paper, printer
and scissors. It's a great place for the
minimalist card makers. I printed my "notes"
on cardstock and layered them on
coordinating paper. I though about adding
some stamping on them but they looked
simply fine. I cut out the "cover", following
the pattern, onto a designer cardstock. I
found some cute flowers, clips, elastic ties,
and paper clips to use for closures. These
notes are little, so, perfect for your purses
or to insert into a card for mailing.
