Newton's Nook is this week's sponsor
Be sure to pop over and see all the
fabulous digis, stamps and wonderful die
cuts they have!  Go check them out now!
Here's my card!
As always I enjoy it when  Newton's Nook is
our sponsor. Actually I enjoy ALL our wonderful
sponsor supporters. 😉 I used a couple of sets.
The sun came from another company, even
though I probably have NN sun somewhere.
I can't take everything with me when I travel
to Florida for the winter...pooh! I used daubers
and ink for the sand and Copics to color the
image. I die cut the image and raised it up.
I added a bit of crystal lacquer for the sunglasses
and a clear sparkle pen for the sun.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Obvious Challenge Entry for ME!

Everyone that knows me well, knows I'm a Polar Bear lover!! My upstairs landing is proof of that! So, when I came across this challenge I just had to throw in my hat and join up. It's an inspiration challenge...here's the inspiration...

Here's what I came up with...

I found the card tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers
(Fold Back Pop-up).
It was fun to make and turned out just like
I wanted it to. I colored (LOL) the bears (from
MFT) using ONE Copic marker. I took my sparkle
pen and used it over the entire bear/s.
One little sentiment, from the same stamp set,
and that's it! It isn't a fast card to make but it
did go quicker this time. It was my second card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Another Card for Challenges

Check it out...another card ready for some challenges. It's easy to be creative while lounging in Florida during not so nice weather. Sooooo here it is...

I get really annoyed when my pictures don't look
white!! ARRGGHH... But, here it is. The super cute
image is from Lee Holland. I always enjoy browsing
his etsy shop. I colored it with SN TriBlends using
two of my favorite colors, teals and corals. I kept
the card relatively clean and simple. It took me
about 10 minutes to make and the others went
even quicker. It's a great birthday card that's
super easy peasy!! Hope you like it too!!
I'm entering it in the following challenges...

A Card for Some Challenges

Well, it's been forever since I've found the time or the incentive to join in, BUT, here ya go!!

I used a stencil for the colored rectangles,
sponged with two different colors. I've always
loved to combine these shades.  I die cut the
butterfly and colored it using SN TriBlends.
I curled the wings a tad for dimension and
raised it up with mounting tape.
Just added a sentiment and layers to finish.

I'll be entering this card into the following challenge.

PIP Challenge 2204

This week's sponsor is Gerda Steiner
where you can find some of the cutest
digis and stamps for just about
to meet your creative desires.
They are kindly offering $15 gift code
for this week's winner! Go check them out now!
Here's my card!
I always love a darling image from Gerda Steiner.
The other thing I love is COFFEE!! Sooooo, thus
the perfect combo. The sentiment came from
another company but it seemed the ideal
combination with this image. I colored the
cup and mouse with Copics and used two
circle cut dies for the raised layer for the
mouse/cup. After the small oval was cut out
I heat embossed the sentiment in white.
Add some white ribbon and ta da!

 Thanks for stopping by!!

Here's my card...
This is such a beautiful image and I wish
I could do it justice. Here is my attempt...
I colored the image with Copic markers.
I added some white dots using a pen. Add
a twine tie and bow, a couple of layers and
that pretty much completes the card.

PIP Challenge 2202

Polkadoodles is this week's sponsor!! YAY!

Be sure to pop over and see all the fabulous digis, stamps and supplies that they have!  Go check them out now!

We REALLY appreciate them!
Here's my card...
I had fun with the little cutie. The additional
cactus cup plants are from another stamp
company and the Polkadoodles girl was lots
of fun coloring with TriBlends and Copic
markers. I added a few white pen dots to the
flowers and as freckles. I raised up the
cactus planters with mounting tape.
I embossed the background card stock
and die cut and swirl to fill in the back. The
white dots were created by Nuvo jewel dot.
I'm in Florida now and my WiFi isn't being
very agreeable and I'm awaiting service on
Tuesday. So bear with me!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
