PIP Challenge 2039

 PIP Challenge 2039

There is no official sponsor for this week's
challenge but PIP will be offering the winner a
$10 Gift Certificate from
Unity Stamps

Here's my card for this week!
This is a Triple Cube Card and the tutorial is
from Splitcoaststampers. I had lots of hits and
misses as I created this card but I think it turned
out ok. Something unique, that's for sure.
This is for a friend of mine and her hubby that
will be celebrating their anniversary this week.
When finished the card was a tad too large for
my standard envelopes so I created a
handmade one to match the card itself.

Stay healthy and safe and enjoy
virtual hugs!!

PIP Challenge 2038

           PIP Challenge  2038

PIP is sponsoring this week's challenge and
will be awarding a $5 Gift Certificate from
Here's my card for this week!
This is an Infinity Shaker Card. I followed a
tutorial from a Newton's Nook email. I couldn't
find a link for anyone to follow, but basically,
I colored my ADORABLE Mo Manning image
with Copic markers. I added a silver sparkle
gel pen to the rake tines. I mounted the
white card front to a dark brown. Some small
bits of mounting tape were added to the corners
of the white front. I added a piece of cardstock
to the faceup part of the tape so it wouldn't
stick to the clear envelope I inserted it in.
I added some sequins (sorry for the one sitting
on her head in the photo) and some paper leaves.
Once sealed, it was glued to my main card.
It is one complete cardfront shaker card. I added
a sentiment to the front...and finished.

Stay healthy and safe and enjoy
virtual hugs!!

PIP Challenge 2037

PIP Challenge 2037

This week's sponsor is Gerda Steiner, where
you can find some of the cutest digis for
just about anything to meet your creative
desires. They are kindly offering $15 gift code
for this week's winner! Go check them out now!
Here's my card!
As you know...I adore the stamps and
images from Gerda Steiner, and this is
a fave!! After printing out my images,
2 of the cat, I colored them all with Copic
markers and added clear sparkle
pen to some of them.  I fussy cut everything
out, including the paws from my extra
cat image. I decided on my papers and
began putting the scene together. Mounting
tape was added to the main cat and also
to the extra paws. I raised up that part
and attached it to the main background
paper. I also raised up a cupcake and the
gift. I used a sentiment bubble die cut
and added the sentiment. Several sequins
were added to finish off the card.
This card was made for my friend, Gerri.
Her birthday is this week. And no, I won't
tell her age. hehe.
