MFP Stamps Challenge 18
Anything Goes

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I applied marker directly to my clear block.
I used a blue and a green. I misted the block
with water to create a watercolor appearance.
I then stamped the images and sentiment in
black and that was it. :-)
BTW, the off color on the white is NOT ink
but a shadow from when I took the photo.
ugh. lol

I used MFP stamp sets

"Chill in the Air"
"Scenic Selections"

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 4
Whaaaat??? No butterflies? lol Bring on the BEES.
I sponged on some yellow and orange inks in the lower
left corner of the cardfront. Then I just stamped my image
and sentiment in black. I stamped the bees and colored
them and cut them out. I raised them up on the card using
mounting tape. For the "flying" bee I actually just cut off
his legs (he felt no pain) and added some flying dots
behind him. That was it. Thanks for stopping in and be
sure to visit all the other blogs listed below.

Stamps can be found in MFP Stamp Shop.
I used:

"Bring On The Sun"
"Spring Sayings"

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 3
Still using my butterflies to create my cards, perhaps my
last card will have a different bug...who knows? lol
Again, I went with a mainly white card. I used circle
die cuts, 2 different sizes, stamping the butterfly on
the smaller and embossing the larger. My butterflies
were stamped in different color Memento Inks. Before
I added the circle, I embossed the lower third of the
main cardfront. I added a black ribbon and a gingham
black and white bow. I raised the circles with the
butterflies using mounting tape. Simple card.

Stamps can be found in MFP Stamp Shop.
I used:

Here's my card for
DAY 2
I used white as my main color. Just call me
Captain Obvious. lol  I took a narrow embossing
folder and embossed up about an 1" from the bottom.
I stamped my sentiment and added a matching
ribbon. I stamped, colored (using Copics) and cut
out the butterfly. I raised it using mounting tape.
And, as always, I have multiply layers and boom,
done! Thanks for popping in. Be sure to visit
all the other members of the design team for
more lovely cards!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 291

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 291
- anything goes -

Here's my card for the design team.
I really enjoyed using this stamp set and die cuts.
It made my card very simple. The little "Newton"
cat was colored using Copics and the paw prints
were stamped right on my pattern papers once the
card was completed. Glad I didn't screw it up!
Thanks for stopping by...now get creating!
:-)
Our sponsor for this challenge is
I want to thank Newton's Nook for sponsoring this challenge.
They have wonderful stamps and their die cuts are perfect!

Still time to get involved with the current challenge at Tuesday Throwdown.

Let's get started !!

Here's my card for
DAY 1

Butterflies and bugs! FUN! It's always working with
creatures. lol. I made a pop-up card following this
link for the tutorial. Naturally I seldom follow
exactly like I should, but it worked. Butterfly was
colored with Copic markers and I added some dots
for a "flying" tracer. lol. Thanks for stopping by
and checking things out. Be sure to visit all the
other blogs and leave a comment for a chance to win.

Mark's Finest Papers Stamps Challenge 17

MFP Stamps Challenge 17
Color Challenge - Purple
CAS card w/theme** definition of a CAS card will be supplied
as well as a sample that matches the definition. A stamp must be used.

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I began by sponging on ink in the lower left
corner, using purple, with a smidge of turquoise.
I then stamped the ferns in the matching ink,
stamping off first. The flowers are stamped
in the same ink without stamping off first. I
stamped the sentiment and butterfly in the same
ink. A very easy card with a nice affect.

I used MFP stamp sets

"Tweet Blessings"
"Marsh Silhouettes"
"Birthday Mini"

MFP Stamps Challenge 16
Different Card - use TUTORIAL
(Joy Fold)

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

As usual I followed the tutorial to create
this Joy Fold card. I'm not happy with how the
colors photographed because they look off.
Actually they all DO match. lol It's always
a simple card when you have a tutorial to
follow. I picked out my papers first. I decided
to use a double-sided designer cardstock for
the main fold. I just colored my butterfly
with Copic markers and, after cutting it out,
I used mounting tape to raise it up.
Thanks for stopping by!

I used MFP stamp sets

"Hello Butterfly"
and
" Animal Birthdays"

MFP Stamps Challenge 15
Technique Challenge - use TUTORIAL
(Faux Patina)

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I followed the technique to create my card.
Go figure. hehe. I used a pasley embossing
folder and sponged on some green and deep
purple inks. Then I added VersaMark, as
stated in tutorial, and then gold embossing
powder and heat set. I die cut a fancy oval and
sponged on some of the same deep purple ink.
I attached all my layers. I stamped my lily, using
VersaMark and heat embossed that in gold
too. I colored the image using the same
background inks and a blender pen. I
touched up a bit of the color using my Copics.
Once completed I cut it out and raised it
up using mounting tape and that was it.
Thanks for looking and be sure to join
in the Challenge!!

I used MFP stamp set

"Tiger Lily"

MFP Stamps Challenge 14

MFP Stamps Challenge 14
CAS - Rain
Cards can not have more than 1 other full layer
besides the card base. There needs to be a one stamped
image as your focal point. There needs to be lots
of white or open space.

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I made a block of clouds, using a black ink,
stamping off once then stamping twice to
to create the layer look of clouds. I stamped
the boot and colored it using Copic markers.
I cut it out and added it to the card and then
used a clear lacquer to create a vinyl look
for the boots. I added my sentiments and
that was it!

Stamp I used from MFP is:
Rain Clouds
