Christmas 2013

Hope everyone had a joyous and MERRY CHRISTmas!! Mine was very nice, though I did come down with one nasty cold. When I feel better I will scan the cards I received. Here are the two that I sent out this year...I only made 20 of the detailed ones (they took FOREVER to make). I wasn't able to get any out to my friends oceans away. Maybe I'll have to do a RAK mid year. We'll see. lol
Thanks for looking! Have a HAPPY New Year!!

A Sue Chaney Card

Yep, I do love Sue Chaney's cards and this one is a KEEPER for sure! Naturally I keep ALL my handmade cards but this is really nice and I love the stamped image. I have to remember to ask her whose stamp it is! Thanks, Sue!! Miss you!

November's Stamp Time

November was the last Stamp Time until spring. December is always too busy and I'll be busy packing and reading the house while we're in FL, AND I'm sure my girls and brother won't want to jump in and take over while they are house-sitting. HA! And those of you who know Heather really KNOW that she'd NEVER do that! lol She is NOT a crafty lady. Surprisingly enough, I still love her. Go figure. heehee We had a great Thanksgiving, though the following day was bitter sweet for me as Amber moved to Milwaukee. I hated to see her move. It was so nice having her a house away from Heather's but, alas, she's gone. Thankfully Amber's job gave her a great opportunity to work from home so she didn't need to leave a job she loves, though she will surely miss her awesome co-workers. Ok, ST...we had fun again this month and missed having some of our regulars with us, BUT we did make some nice projects/cards. Here are our projects/cards! The color in the photo of the Gift Bag is NOT accurate at all. It was nice reds and greens, AND actually matched. lol Gerri Morgan was really happy about that. She thought I must have lost my mind, according to the picture. (Apparently she doesn't realize I lost my mind YEARS ago...silly girl!) All right...enough babbling...here are the photos!
This was such a simple card with adorable die cut flowers! Ribbon was actually white and colored with Copic markers to achieve the perfect match! Gotta love Copics!!
Gift bag, had way nicer coloring in REAL life, is made out of 2 12x12 double-sided pieces of cardstock. Easy Peasy!
Another adorable card, thanks to whoever's idea it was on Pinterest! I love the Stampin'Up owl punch because it has so many options for creating, like these darling Penguins!! FUN!!
Yes, we did a little bit of watercoloring. I think mine was sort of lame but everyone else's turned out nicely with a great watercolor effect!

These are mine...I wasn't very productive but they are ok. Thanks for looking! These were just random cards, no contests. :-)
Here are Gerri's...just a few of the MANY she made. She is always way more productive than I am. WTG Gerri!!

Fall 2013 at the Morgan Cottage!

I soooo love that Gerri invites me to "play" so often!! Of course packing my stamp room for travel may be a bit extreme but it's worth it to stamp while looking out at this view!! Besides that, Gerri makes me YUMMY stuff to eat!! Woo hoo! Diet??? What diet???
I think Patti Raine did a great job cropping and enhancing my photo for me!! Hugs to Patti!!

Stamp Time Week

Stamp Time went well. I always learn how to improve on the cards I create!! THANKS, LADIES!! AND, I am serious! Besides that, Judy Meyer always brings in some of her cards to share with me. Love that! So, I figured I'd share them with all of you, as well! (Sorry for the lousy color, the pretty WHITE cards look icky yellow.)
