and colored my flowers with Copic markers.
I die cut the image and raised it with mounting
tape before attaching it to my card. Add
a sentiment and that's it! Simply done!

Better Late than Never PIP Challenge 2012

Pammie's Inky Pinkies
Challenge 2012
After driving back from Florida I had no
energy left, nor the ability to unpack, in
time to post the challenge, THUS, why
I am late. On that note, I want to thank
our amazing sponsor, Star Stampz!!

Be sure to pop over and check out all the
fabulous digis they have!  In fact, g
check them out now!
Here's my card and inspiration...
I began this card by picking out the perfect
background paper for the darling image.
Once that was decided, I found the right
Copic markers to color my little girl.
I printed out the image twice so I could
fussy cut the sunflower and color it to be
raised with foam dots for dimension. I
felt the sentiment was perfect for this card.
I added a couple of white dots for freckles
and some white highlights in the hair.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Here's my project!
This was a cute image and I was happy with
the overall coloring...and then I added the
glaze for the sunglasses. It looks better in
person but the photo looks really globby.
Is that a word??? LOL. It was colored with my
TriBlend markers and a white pen to highlight
the hair and add dots to the flowers on the hat.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Here's my project!

This card was fun to make and very
simple. TCC is a great place to get
wonderful templates. You don't need die cuts
or anything. This slider card did come with
their own image (heart) and word (love).
I changed it up a bit. I wanted to use this
flower stamp and matching die cut. I cut
out all my pieces on white cardstock and
used them for templates on my pattern
paper. I pieced the card together following
Cutting Cafe video directions. Since I wanted
the stamped image on the front I had to
make some changes. The pull tab, as it was
shown, would have bent my flower so I
cut the flower so it would move freely
as the card opened.
The flowers were colored using TriBlend
markers. I simply colored them without
trying to add shading. I liked the basic
clean look of the flowers. Be sure to checkout
the video at The Cutting Cafe.

PIP Challenge 2009

PIP Challenge  2009

There is no official sponsor for this week's
challenge but PIP will be offering the winner a
$5 Gift Certificate from
Mo's Digital Pencil
Here's my card for this week!
I always tend to just highlight the images
when there is lots of coloring. This little
guy, by Mo Manning, is just too adorable
hide behind too many embellishments, sooo
here it is. Colored using TriBlend Markers.
Some matching papers and done!
