PIP Challenge 1812

I'm sorry to say that I don't have a card ready for this week's challenge, or next. WHAAAAT??? Being away from home and not having the right printer for printing my digital images has made it a bit of a challenge. So, I guess, I have to wait to return to WI in about 10 days.
BUT, there is still a great challenge going on over at

Crafter's Companion - Candle

This candle turned out lovely! It was simply done too! First
I took some plain tissue paper and stamped my image. Then, using Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers colored it.
Colored pencils will work too.

Once finished, I carefully tore out the image...closer to the image the better.
I took the image and held it to the candle where I wanted it. Taking some wax paper, a large enough piece to wrap around the candle in order to hold the tissue in place.

(not my photo)
Using my heat gun I began to apply heat to the image. Don't over heat the candle or it will melt it. You just want to heat it enough to watch the tissue edges disappear. Smooth it by rubbing the wax paper. Once smoothed, with all tissue edges melted gently into the wax, you're finished.

Here's my card!
I had an issue with the printer I'm using here in Florida and found that the ink would run when using my Copic markers, but still, most of this was colored with Copic then I switched to Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils to complete it. Since my friend, Gerri, and I are in Florida, basking in the sun, this was like a selfie! LOL!! I will be sending this card to Birdie because I know she will get a kick out of it! hehe. I added some glaze to the cuties sunglasses

and the sentiment to complete my card.
Be sure to stop by Sparkle N Sprinkle to see

So glad to have Ching-Chou Kuik as our sponsor this week!
You will certainly find beautiful images to choose from!
Be sure to check them out!
Here's my card!
Ching-Chou Kuik has such gorgeous designs I didn't feel my coloring does them justice but I gave it a shot with my Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils. I spent a lot of time coloring this and I after I raised up the butterfly and put my card together, I decided to add some sparkle pen to the butterfly...when...
the pen LEAKED all over my completed card. It was completely ruined. UGGGH! The photo posted here has been edited so I didn't have to color another image.
