So glad to have Newton's Nook as our sponsor this week!
Go check them out now!
Here's my card!
Newton's Nook stamps are some of my absolute FAVES
and this adorable set was perfect for the Summer Days theme!! I used a wave stencil from NN to make my water. I used an applicator to apply Crafter's Companion NEW inks, two shades of blues, then some yellow for my bright sky. I stamped my images and colored them with Copic markers and cut them out. I used an exacto knife to cut a slit in my "water" so I could place my little tuber kitty there. I torn a piece of brown cardstock to make some "sand" for the sandcastle cat. I raised up the pail with mounting tape for a small touch of dimension.

Thanks for stopping by!!

So glad to have Polkadoodles as our sponsor this week!
Go check them out now!
Here's my card!
I LOVE Polar Bears and these awesome bears came from our fabulous sponsor, Polkadoodles!! All their products are wonderful and coloring this image, using Copic markers, was fun! I decided to go with purples for the contrasting color against the bears. I cut the image out and layered it on an embossed piece of cardstock. I added a little sparkle to the snow, using a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen. (Love those pens!)

The layers were placed and that completed the card.

So glad to have Di's Digis as our sponsor this week!
Go check them out now!
Here's my card!
I have many of Di's Digis but I'm not at my regular computer...it's being healed, or...probably not. Sniff. So, I used a card I made using Gerda Steiner, another one of my absolute faves. I bought this stamp set with my friend from 8th grade. We had raised guinea pigs together for a very long time. Great memories! So, when I saw this it was a GOTTA HAVE IT moment. This is the card I mailed to my friend out in TX. I colored it using Copic markers. Boom, done!

So glad to have Sparkle N Sprinkle as our sponsor this week!
Go check them out now!
Here's my card!
I have many friends that have dogs and they are certainly family. We all love our furry family members and it's never easy when we lose one. This is such a sweet image and I hope it brings comfort to someone during their loss. I colored the image with Copics and Spectrum Noir markers. Found some coordinating papers to create my layers. I dotted around the image, added some gems to the flowers and used a Spectrum Noir yellow sparkle pen for the halo. All halos need some glitz, right?
I meant to add some crystal lacquer to the heart on his collar but...I forgot before I took the photo. lol
