August 30th **Oriental Sketch Challenge** Challenge 52.
Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team. This is my final submission as a designer for the Oriental Sketch team but it was my pleasure to sub in for the talented Jane Chambers!! Welcome back Jane!! Jane will be showing her skills starting next Saturday! Enjoy!!
The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, paper pieced and colored using Copic markers. Instead of my usual Gold Leafing pen I used SILVER! lol I also love to use clear stamps because I am able to cut sentiments, etc. to be used they way I need. In this case, the Chinese writing actually had Buddha underneath it and since Buddha wasn't on the card I didn't want the word either. hehe
I used MFP stamp set "Buddha".

The "legs" were die cut using a tag die. You can use a tag punch too. Cut and stamp your panels to fit and DONE! For complete directions you can find the Oriental Screen Card HERE!
I used MFP stamp sets "Lanterns" and "Nature's Brushstrokes".

If you've ever had ink on your fingers, glitter on your face, glue on the side of your hand, and paper scraps in your lap, you're in the right place! This is going to be my haven from the other clutter of our world...the place God gives me to chillax, and play. My stamping, card making hideaway! This is where ideas, photos, and info sharing is the norm. And yes, ink on the pinkies is a given for me!!
