I needed two anniversary cards and I
decided that this image was sweet.
This card was made for my hubby and
best friend, of 54 years.
card 1
...and the other
is for my hubby's sister who shares the
same anniversary date as ours...just not
as many years. hehe
card 2
Both cards were colored with Copic
markers. Both had the same random
sentiment...card 1 has sparkle pen accents,
some heart embellishments, stamped 5, 4
and white heat embossed banner, raised
up with my good ol' mounting tape.

If you haven't checked out RAM Stamps

Here are my cards...
I played around with these digis and found
a couple of options. I didn't use the large
one this time but I will. 😀
For this card I found a water background
online and added the PNG image of the
sentiment and lighthouse. I printed the
lion/boat separately and colored all the
images with Copic markers. I fussy cut out
the lion and boat and used mounting tape to
attach it to the card.........

Then, for the next card...
I created my layout using PicMonkey. (I
use that a lot) Copics were used to color
again, with some sparkle pen
added to the water. Then some coordinated
layering and an anchor embellishment to
finish this card.

AND a big thank you to our awesome
sponsor,  Sunbird Spark!

Here's my card...

This was a kind of "cheat" card. lol!
Taylored Expressions offered a Summer
School class that I joined in on. I
received all the products needed, plus
I added some misc. supplies and got
creating. The stamped image was colored
with OLO markers. I had to order the
ones I used. I must say, that they are AMAZING
markers. I wish I could order them all but
since I have all the Copic markers and
refills, I couldn't justify the purchase. Boo hoo.
The card is a diagonal Z fold base.
Thanks, Kristina!
After I had my base ready I created my
layers. I used a checked background
stamp on the blue and a stencil
for the background on the kraft paper.
A die cut was used for the berries
then raised up with mounting tape.
The sentiment was stamped and die cut.
The Quilted die cut was used on the oval
white piece. I love that die!! A couple of
gems were added to complete the project.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

PIP Challenge 2629

Our sponsor for
and they've kindly offered a
$25 gift code to the random winner!

I want to thank GKD for being a
wonderful sponsor!
Here are my cards:
1.
2.
using "Botanical Duo"

Card 1
Pretty simple creation once I found the
perfect background paper. The entire
stamp filled the whole card front.
I did have to blacken up the stamped
image. Not sure why I couldn't get it
inked enough and I was using the Misti.
So, basically, it was a single stamp card
and some glitter pen added to the water...

and the added banner and a couple of
coordinating layers

and done!

Card 2
I used the awesome Botanical Duo
die cut with black cardstock. The
floral background paper was a nice, soft
fill-in for the black frames. I took another
GKD stamp set and used the "Happy
Birthday." I had to cut the long clear stamp
so I could fit it on the card. That's an
advantage I use with clear stamps.
A couple of little heart and daisy
embellishments finished the outside.

Inside was easy peasy!
Please be sure to check out Gina K Designs

you need for inspiration and creativity!!

PIP Challenge 2628

Time to join in the challenge with
Polkadoodles as this week's sponsor!!
YAY!
We REALLY appreciate our sponsors!

Here's my card for the challenge...
If you can't find something fun at
Polkadoodles you're not trying, lol... they have
images and stamps for every occasion or
person. Go find what you need!
For this card I used the clear stamp set
"Hello Sunshine." After the images were
stamped I colored them with my Copics and
cut them out. My white panel was the
leftover from a prior card that I needed
an oval cutout. A fun diecut was used and
I put together my layers. Next I stamped
my sentiment. The little butterfly and
my girl were raised up with mounting tape
and added to the card. I used a sparkle
pen and clear laquer to the puddle and
a white gel pen to freckle the little girl.

For the inside I just made a couple
of layers and added some little flowers.
I will be entering this card in...

Here's my Lawn Fawn creation
As usual, at least lately, I had to rush and make
a birthday card for a neighbor and this was
perfect for him. Of course, Lawn Fawn
was a great go to...I stamped the desk and
typewriter on a white cardfront. Then I
added the sentiments and colored it with
my Copics. I stamped the little mouse
and colored him then cut him out. Raising
the mouse with mounting tape made him
look like he was typing.
This was white cardstock, unlike the
beige/off white look the photo gives it. lol.
Inside...
Unusual for a guy, but my neighbor
says they keep all my cards. Love creating
for people like that!! AND, this was a
super quick card to make. 😀👍
I'm entering this card in...

Another fun challenge ahead! PIP's fabulous
sponsor for this week is
It's always fun getting to find new stuff
and a great sponsor as well! YAY! Be
sure to go shopping!!
Here's my card...following the 5th
Monday theme: WATER
featuring Silly Fisherman
This was made for my fish loving
hubby's birthday. He fishes a lot and I
love that he does because he takes so
many stunning scenery photos, and even
some of fish he's caught. He's a catch and
release fisherman. Neither of us like to
clean fish. hehe.
Anyway, I used Copic markers to color
the image and used a ragged die cut.
The edge was sponged with coordinating
inks to help it stand out against the
background paper. I made the sentiment
myself and found some fun fish designer
cardstock to accent the card. The sentiment
was raised up with mounting tape.
I always find lots of great images for
any occasion at Pattie's Creations.
