MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 284

Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Fox  and Friends Challenge 284
- round all corners -

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

I got the idea for this card from some very creative person on Pinterest
Someone's got skills. lol I had to come up with my own stamps and
images though. I think it turned out fine. First of all I rounded
all the corners for my layers. Taking a piece of brown CS I ran it
through my wood-like embossing folder and then scored it every
1/2 inch, nipping out a "v" at the end of each 1/2 inch score, creating a
"fence". I ran an ink pad, using a darker color brown. I stamped my
sentiment on the white panel and began stamping my branch, inking,
stamping and stamping again without re-inking. Liquid Applique works
so perfectly for the snow. I dotted spots all over the card and lined the
top of my fence and heated it for the wonderful puff effect. My Cardinal
is a die cut. I cut him out twice so I could add some dimention
to his wing by adding some mounting tape to the back of the top wing.
I used a white pen to outline the eye and put a black pearl in the centeer.
His bill and feet were colored using a gold sparkle pen. He was then
mounted up on top of my fence. I did sponge some brown ink
around the Cardinal and the white main card. And...that's it!
Thanks for stopping by!

I used MFP stamp sets
"Snow Gifts, mini set" .
and
"Marsh Silhouettes"
