Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

For this card...yep, I followed the tutorial. lol

I stamped my frog and colored him using my Copic 

markers. I stamped the sentiment and assembled the 

card. Of course I needed to add a couple of googly eyes 

to my frog and finished. 

I used MFP stamp set "Tree Frogs"

Here's my card for 

DAY 4

For this card I took my pattern paper and cut it

in half and used a border punch. I laid the pieces

down where they need to be so I could add

my sentiment. I then raised the pattern pieces

up, using mounting tape. Once the butterfly

was stamped and colored, using Copic Markers,

I mounted it up and curled the wings a tad.

Here's my card for 

DAY 3

I stamped the image on a piece of white using daubers
to add some grey to the sky and brown to the ground and
I edged black all the way around. Copic Markers were used to color the rest of the image. I wrapped some black twine around it a few times and raised the image using
mounting tape. Add a black button and twine and you
have a great guy card! Thanks for stopping by!

Here's my card for 

DAY 2

I designed this card for my niece's new baby boy!

I cut my layers, embossing the tan piece AFTER

I stamped the sentiment "Celebrate!". I cut the 

piece for my "bag" out of a matching designer

paper, attaching some tissue paper along the top. 

I found a perfect ribbon to make my bag's handle.

The bag is raised using mounting tape just along

the very edge of the bag, not the top. The bag

should be open so you can insert a Gift Card

or check. Obviously my gift card is not real. lol

I mounted up the Boy tag, adding some matching

ribbon. Another simple but fun type of card!

Here's my card for 

DAY 1

This was a super easy card and it's one of those that

looks very nice and clean. The dress is paper pieced

to match the pattern piece through the middle. I did

score an 1/8 inch around the dress. A piece of twine

was wrapped around the layered sentiment and 

raised up with mounting tape. An easy peasy card!

- Stamp flowers on vellum, emboss with white EP, color on back side, cut out and add to card front. -

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

I stamped my poinsettias, using VersaMark, on vellum
and embossed in white. Using Copic markers I colored
on the back side. Once I cut them out I attached the
flowers to my pattern paper. A few brads were added
to the corners and then put on my white cardfront.
I stamped Noel three times to finish the card.

- Stamp a background either with a background stamp or a smaller stamp with Versa Mark and emboss with Clear EP on colored card stock. -

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

For this card I used a VersaMark pad and stamps my tree
background and clear embossed it. I stamped my cutie
moose, colored it using Copic markers and cut him out.
I assembled my card, adding some wrapped brown twine.
My moose was mounted up using some mounting tape.
Stamped sentiment and DONE!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 270

Here's my card for the design team.

I used Deedee's Autumn Blessings to create this

card. I printed the wreath, large, to make my

background. I colored it using my Copic markers.

Then I attached a piece of vellum, using leaf brads.

I used a green cardstock for my layering color.

I wrapped twine around the pieces and glued it

onto my main card piece. I then colored my other

image, adding some rhinestones to the flower. 

Once cut out I used mounting tape to raise the

image, adding the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment,

and some more rhinestones and more 

mounting tape. I think the muted wreath is a

good look. Thanks for stopping by!

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

Following the directions didn't work out for me
the first time I gave them a shot. I followed them as
directed but results weren't to my liking. First of all it
seemed that my sponged colors should be a bit more to
the dark side, as in my card now. Also I got much better
results by misting the water right on my brass/metal
stencil and then placing it directly on my prepared
cardstock instead of laying the stencil on card then
misting. I would suggest trying some different ways
before preparing your actual card.

Crafty Girls Creations Challenge 8

I'm entering this card in 

Crafty Girls Creations Challenge 8!

This is an Anything Goes challenge, so, this certainly

is an anything goes. lol

I used Deedee's Digis "Dad's Day Off". 

This card was made for my Pastor, who suffers with

migraines. I just wanted to remind him that REST

is important. I guess I'll pray for him, as well as

sending him a card. lol

I took the digi sentiment Rest Up and made my 

background paper.  I tried to color the cute little

Corgi like my Pastor's Corgi, Pepe. I used Copics

for my colors and cut out the images and mounted

them up using some mounting tape. Pretty basic,

but it is for a GUY! lol Thanks for looking!

I'm soooo excited to be chosen to be a part

of Deedee's Digis design team. I'll be surrounded

by wonderful talent and fantastic digis!
