Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 336

Challenge 336 - sparkle

Now for the challenge FUN from Tuesday Throwdown
and our awesome sponsor, All Dressed Up!
Here's my card for the challenge.
I made this card super simple because I really wanted
to show off the cute little image from All Dressed Up.
She is actually from a digi with three sweet little girlies
but I only wanted one of them so I cut her out and saved
the others for different cards. 😀 I colored this one with
Copic markers. I added some sparkle strips of cardstock,
four sparkly hearts and raised up the little girl using
mounting tape.
I left the front sentiment-free so the image was
the main focus.

I needed a thank you card for a friend of mine that had
a great St. Paddy's Day together for a bunch of friends.
We had such fun. Nothin' like a bit of green and some
yummy Corned Beef and cabbage. For this image in my
card I went to Pinterest. I am sure it's copywritten but
I thought, perhaps, just a quick card for my friend.
The image is stunning and all I did was add some Copic
coloring and layering and DONE! Be sure to check out
Di's Digis wonderful digital art! Great stuff there!

I love my Bugaboo images!! This little gal is adorable!
I colored her with Copics, adding a few freckles with a
white gel pen, and cut her out. I took a piece
of white and die cut an oval in the middle, then I ran it
through an embossing folder. I used pop up dots to raise
the white piece over a pretty piece of floral. I attached my
little girl, with pop up dots. I cut out the sentiment and
added some colored layers to it and popped it up as well.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 334

Challenge 334 - tag/bookmark
Now for the challenge FUN from Tuesday Throwdown
and our awesome sponsor, Joy Claire Stamps!
Here's my bookmark for the challenge.
I don't think this bookmark did justice to
Joy Claire Stamps, but I am sure I'll get MANY better
uses out of great blotchy stamp set. Perhaps my snowbirding
here in Florida has made me VERY lazy...or just too busy at
the beach and pool to get quality in my stamping. Anyway...I cut
out my bookmark, with the cute little birdie at the top. I stamped
my blotches using pastel inks, in pink, blue, and green. I dotted
some black lines around the white edge. I attached the white to
a piece of black, cut it out, and attached it to a piece of green.
The multiple layers gave my bookmark some firmness. I used a
sparkle pen over my bird, that I have colored in Copics, and
crystal glaze over the entire bird. And that was it!
Certainly not my greatest creation but I am anxious to work
with these stamps again very soon...maybe when I get back
to Wisconsin. lol

Sometimes I just struggle and struggle with my "coloring"
and this was one of those times. This little girl is so cute
and I think I messed up her hair...but...I wasn't going to
start over. lol. Copics were used to color the image. I added
some FSJ Glaze to her little boots.

A couple of gems for the flowers centers and putting my layers
together was all I needed to complete this card.

What can I say??? I LOVE Newton's Nook! I always
find it fun to create with them. Stamps are awesome. Ok,
onward, I stamped my cups, beans and sentiment first.
I stamped my kitty on a separate piece of white. I colored
everything using Copic markers. I die cut my kitty so I could
use pop dots to mount him up. I cut the word "sip" off
of one of the other sentiments in the set so I could add it
to my little coffee cups. I used a fine tip pen to add whisker
nubs to my kitten. There...now it's time for some COFFEE!
