PIP Challenge 2250

A brand new challenge over at PIP Challenges.
This week's sponsor is SheepSki Designs
 Without our amazing sponsors the
challenges wouldn't happen.
SheepSki Designs is offering the
random winner THREE DIGIS!!

Here's my card for this week!
This was a darling little image from SheepSki Designs.
I colored this little chill buddies with Copic markers
and fussy cut them out. I added some white dots and
lines to the hats. I embossed the raised white
background with snow flakes. Using some silver
glitter paper I die cut a large snowflake. I added
that to the embossed piece and attached the
penguins with mounting tape. I'm still trying to
decide if I want to add a word or sentiment...
any suggestions???

Here's my card!
I have several stamp companies that I
love...two of them are LAWN FAWN
and the other is Newton's Nook, and
I used NN stamps, trees are from
another company, and one of my favorite,
fun interactive die cuts, Platform pop-up,
from LAWN FAWNI've used this die
cut MANY times with Lawn Fawn
stamps but this time I grabbed
NN and it shows how versatile this die cut
is. The images were colored using TriBlend
markers. This does lay flat and fits envy.

PIP Challenge 2248

The challenge this week is sponsored
by PIP Challenges and they will be giving away a
$10 Gift Certificate from Sweet n Sassy
NOW...

Here's my card for this challenge:

I used an older SnS stamp set to create this
card for a dear friend. I used the Lawn Fawn
die cut Pivot Pop-up to make the interactive
part of this card. It made this card pretty simple.
The fun little critters were colored with
Copic markers. I had lots of layers and that's
basically what took the most time.

sponsors the challenges wouldn't happen.

sets and ideas! Such a talent!

Here's my card,
So, I decided to make this fun digi into a
shaker card. Well, as I began to start I realized
that I had no idea how to make one...it's been
too long. Soooooooo, I had lots of screw ups.
Apparently I found using a digi for this type
of card isn't as easy as an actual stamp...BUT,
I think it turned out ok. I colored my snow
family with Copics, adding a touch of Sparkle
pen to the globe base. I put some sequins
in the shaker and that was about it. I did have
some shaker cups handy, which helped.

I will be entering this card in the following
challenges:

Challenge Card

So, here I am in another challenge. It's been
forever since I played along with some but I
have some time this week since I crammed
everything in the past 2 weeks, health wise.
I am entering this card into:

Here's my entry.
I used a Sweet 'n Sassy set for the image,
and the inside sentiment (I forgot to take
a pic). The "there's no place like home"
came from an old A'muse set. I used
a circle die cut to make a peek a boo spot
for my hot chocolate gal. She was colored
with Copic markers and I raised the
pattern paper (Circle) with a thick mounting
tape and then raise my little lady.

MFT Sketch #618 Challenge

Well, I was unable to be creative for my own
PIP Challenge but I was able to join in with
Here's the sketch to follow...
Here's my card...
I embossed the white card front and
used daubers to add some ink. I used an
older MFT set, can't remember the name
or if it's even available yet, but I love it!
I colored it with Copic markers and
added a sparkle pen to the snow. The
scarf, hat, and coat were paper pieced.
I heat embossed the sentiment to a dark
gray tag. I used mounting tape to raise up
the images and sentiment.

PIP Challenge 2245

Another great challenge over at PIP Challenges
with our amazing sponsor
Varada Sharma
VS has such beautiful images! It's
awesome that she is kind enough to sponsor
PIP Challenges! Be sure to visit her site!!

Sorry to say, I was unable to prepare a
card. Minor surgery on Wed. and two
messed up attempts on doing Varada's
images justice. Apparently my creative
juices are still in la la land. I couldn't
believe how badly my coloring was/is.
So, instead of making her wonderful
image look horrible, I am taking a pass.
Thank goodness for PIP's awesome
design team.

We REALLY appreciate them!

Here's my card...
When a person has a digi this cute to
"work" with it's not hard to make a simply,
adorable, easy card. I colored the image with
Copic markers and cut it out. I added some
white "freckles".  I printed the sentiment
circle and used a circle die cut to cut it out.
I added the cute little guy with mounting
tape. Final touch, a few enamel dot elements.
This card was made for my 3 y/o grandson's
first day of Pre-3K. He loves school...for now. lol.
Thanks Polkadoodles for creating the
adorable "Study Dude".

Be sure to pop over and see all the
fabulous digital projects that they
have to help your creativity!  No
die cutting machine necessary!

Here's my project for this challenge...
The Cutting Cafe always has something
for every occasion! All I needed was glue,
scissors, and some cardstock. That was pretty
much it. I did traced the patterns onto my
cardstock and cut them out. For the medium
pumpkin I was able to cut 2 of the pumpkin
pieces out of each 12x12 cardstock. I used a
total of 4 (2 different) 12x12 papers. You
can check it out at TCC 3D Pumpkin Template.
I added a bit of twine and some enamel dots.
I did sponge some brown ink around the
edges of the solid orange, leaves, and stems.
There are three different sizes of these templates
and would make a great center piece!

Here's my card!
This card was made for a friend that is going
through some life challenges and I just felt
she needs some smiles, AND prayers. So,
Lawn Fawn had everything I needed to
create this fun card. I used "Happy Mail
and "Let's Go Nuts" stamps, and Dies. I die
cut all the items I needed. For the mailbox I
punched a hole through the flag and box and
attached the flag with a mini brad. It does go
up and down. The letter was handwritten.
I colored the squirrels and nuts with Copics.
Pattern paper was used for the grass. Then,
it was just a matter of putting the card
together. I do think my friend will enjoy the
smile when she opens her mail.

PIP Challenge 2241

The challenge this week is sponsored by
PIP Challenges!
The prize will be a
$10 Gift Certificate from
YAY!!
Here is my project for the challenge...
Such fun playing around with all the fun
This "Little Piggy" was the perfect
makings for a card from my adorable
grandson (3 y/o). I am always chasing him
around, trying to get his little piggies (toes).
He will hold up his bare foot to tease me
into chasing him. LOL! I colored my image
with Spectrum Noir markers. I heat embossed
the sentiment in white onto black cardstock.
I used a border embossing folder for the
lower edge. I used a leaf die cut for the
back setting and raised up the image and
the sentiment to complete the card.
My darling little LJ will get his card tomorrow.
He'll pull it apart. That's always such fun!

Newton's Nook is this week's sponsor

Be sure to pop over and see all the
fabulous digis, stamps and wonderful die
cuts they have!  Go check them out now!
Here are my cards!

I had such fun making these cards
EXCEPT whatever off white cardstock
I used did NOT work well with my Copic
markers, OR my Spectrum Noir markers.
They just wouldn't dry. Really weird. So
my coloring wasn't very good at all but
I still got them mailed out to friends.
Newton's Nook stamps and dies are
awesome to "work" with. LOL! I can't wait
to make more Fall cards, on GOOD cardstock.
I used "Autumn Mice" stamps and Dies.
