MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 294

Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 294
- Monochromatic Blue -

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

I wanted to keep this card very simple because I
want to use it for a masculine birthday. Can't add
too much embellishing on a guy's card, or so I've
been told. (Thank you, sweet hubby) lol  For this
I just picked out the blues I wanted to use for my
CS and inks. I sponged color to a piece of ivory
CS, making an ocean setting, of sorts. I then added
my lighthouse. Easy peasy. I made a tag and  added
some sponged color to complete it then added
mounting tape to raise it up. That's it! TFL!

I used MFP stamp sets

"Lighthouses"

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

For this card I used glossy cardstock and sponged
on ink colors, in shades of purples. Then I stamped
the butterflies, using a Versamark pad and added
purple embossing power and heat set it. Because
I was using a glossy CS I stamped my sentiment
using black Stazon ink. I stamped my flowers and
colored them with Copic markers. I cut them out
and raised them up with mounting tape. Then I used
Fun Stampers Journey Glaze and added gold
gems. I had a purple flower ribbon, or trim, that
I added for another shade of purple. Once my
layers were all completed I had my finished card!

I used MFP stamp sets

"Old Summer"

"Spring Flowers"

I found it very easy to make a Christmas card using
the greens. I used a green ink in an embossing folder
to make the pine background paper. That was placed on
top of a sparkly silver then on a green snowflake
background piece. I edged the white with green
ink sponging. I used a sparkle glitter gel pen to highlight
the snow on the trees. A snowflake charm was added
in the corner for some dimension to complete the card.

I used MFP stamp set "Tis The Season" and "All Is Calm"

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 273

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 273
- snowflakes -

Here's my card for the design team.
This digital image is so stinkin' cute! After I colored the
images, using Copic Markers, I cut them out. I embossed
the great treeline and snowy scene for my background.
I tore a piece of CS, adding some Stickles for sparkle to
the "snow". I glued down my snowman and raised the
torn snow piece, using mounting tape. Then I raised the
cutesy little girl and stamped Merry Christmas to finish!
MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL!!

Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 291
- Monochromatic RED -

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

I never mind doing Mono colored cards because it takes
the guess work out of what to use. lol So this challenge
is all about the REDs!! First of all I took a piece of white
CS and placed it in an embossing folder, inked with a red
ink, to get my main background. I sponged some red on
the edges. I mounted it on a red and a gold. I stamped
the ornament, in, yes, red, and added some red dots and
a Merry Christmas. Using a gold marker I colored the
ornament holder and a gold leafing pen to edge the white.
Add a pretty ribbon and some rhinestones and DONE!

I used MFP stamp set "Tis The Season Mini".
