So happy to have MHK Designs as our sponsor this week!
They have some fun and beautiful designs!
Be sure to check them out!

Here's my card!

Such a pretty images from MHK Designs!!
I think I mixed and matched some of my sets from
MHK and added my own "Thank You, Lord!" I used
Copics to color the leaves and acorns. Mynn's images
have "shading" already on the images and it makes
coloring them so much easier. I used a gold leafing
pen to border my sentiments and the green background.
I embossed my green cardstock and glued down the
sentiments and one of the acorns. The leaves and
all other acorns were attached using mounting tape.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 366

Challenge 366 - Spooktacular

I'm so glad you stopped by since this will be my last
Tuesday Throwdown Challenge as a Design Team
member. It's been a fabulous run with a great group of
DT friends! I'm stepping down to be able to spend more
time on other projects important to me, PIP Challenges
and Crafter's Companion coloring team. I'll be joining
in the challenges at Tuesday Throwdown as time permits.

Now for the challenge FUN from Tuesday Throwdown
and our awesome sponsor, Lawn Fawn!

Here's my card for this week's challenge!
I really love Lawn Fawn and this little stamp set is just too
cute!! I needed something that was Spooktacular, at the time,
the other Halloween stamps were unavailable and then I
spotted this adorable set, Holiday Party Animal. First of all I
stamped my racoon, three times. One I colored, with Copic
markers, and cut out. One I just cut out to use as a mask,
and the third went on my main card front. I stamped one
of the little pumpkins to use as a mask too. Then I let the
masking begin! I used one little pumpkin in the racoon's
hand. My sentiment came from MFP. I dotted around the
image, added some whisker dots, and some shadowing to
complete the image. I found some great pumpkin background
paper and used some black cardstock for layering.

Here's my card!

Such a pretty image from FSS and it was fun to color
using my Copic markers. I added some .05 black pen
to add some additional lines to the bird's wing. I used a
gold leafing pen to edge the sentiment and image.
I found some beautiful pattern cardstock to make
a lovely background layer to complete the card!

Here's my card!
Needless to say, I always enjoy using my Bugaboo images!
They are just too cute!! This little pooch proves it! He was
colored with Copic markers. I did color his bells with a
Spectrum Noir Gold Sparkle Pen. I fussy cute this puppy
and raised him up using mounting tape. I used a snowflake
stencil to emboss the main cardfront.
Add a sentiment and that pretty much completes my card.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 364

Challenge 364 - Stenciling

Now for the challenge FUN from Tuesday Throwdown
and our awesome sponsor, Sparkle and Sprinkle!

Here's my card for this week's challenge.
I loved the images from Sprinkle and Sparkle and
I printed the sentiment on my card front and then
used a stencil from Fun Stampers Journey and added
inks to sponge on some Fall colors. I should have come
into a bit further, I think, but I was afraid to mess it up. lol
I colored my Nuthatch and leaves using some fall colored
Copics. I fancy cut it and added some mounting tape to
raise it up for some needed dimension.

So happy to have Di's Digis as our sponsor this week!
They have some fun and beautiful designs!
Be sure to check them out!

Here's my card!
This card was super fun to make because I got the image
from Gina K. at her store, Village Paper and Ink. There was
a Coloring Challenge Road Trip, with Kathy Racoosin. This
was one of the images we were given to try a couple of
different techniques on. The dotting on the petals was a
new idea for me but I liked how it looks! I used a white
gel pen to dot around the center of the flower and that
just seemed to make it pop! Another tip I'll use again.
I colored the entire image with Copic markers. Including
the background behind the flowers and leaves. I used
colors BV20s. It was a totally different color idea for me.
I used a "thanks" die cut in the same cardstock as my
back layer. This card will go to the friend whose car we
used to get the Gina K.s. Thanks, Gerri!!!

So happy to have Newton's Nook as our sponsor this week!
They have some fun stamps and die cuts!
Be sure to check them out!

Here's my card!
I love Newton's Nook stamps and since it's football season,
AND I'm a Green Bay Packers fan, this stamp set was just
the thing to create a birthday card for my hubby...next year!
I used a Fun Stampers Journey stencil to make my background.
I just held the stencil in place, using washi tape, and sponged
on my green and gold inks. It creates a fabulous background
very easily! Then I stamped my little "Packer" bear and
colored him using Copic markers and cut him out. I stamped
the sentiment, and colored it, then embossed the upper part
of the white panel. I attached all my layers then added my
little football buddy, using mounting tape to raise him up.
Thanks for stopping by!!
