Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 332

Challenge 332 - things with wings
Now for the challenge FUN from Tuesday Throwdown
and our awesome sponsor, Your Next Stamp!
Here's my card for the challenge.
I hadn't ever heard of Your Next Stamp before this challenge
and I've had such fun with their stamps and die cuts. This
little parrot is such a cutie, and a perfect fit for the theme,
Things With Wings. I colored my parrot with Copic markers
and went over the parrot with a sparkle pen and added
a googly eye.
I added the sentiment and raised the bird up
with mounting tape for a bit of dimension over the pattern
paper.  Simply done. I love the bright colors!

Here's my card for the challenge!
I used My Favorite Things, Pure Innocence, for my card.
I stamped my little image twice, once to use as a mask.
I took a circle die cut for the image and a piece of black,
for layering. Using my mask, I sponged my colors to the
sky and water.  I picked out some coordinating cardstocks
for the layers and assembled my card, except for my image.
I needed to color her with my Copic markers first, then
added her to the top. I stamped some fish to the bottom
of my card, and one that I could cut out. I added some
mounting tape to the back on the one little cut out fish
and attached it to the end of the little gal's fishing line.
I added some sparkle pen over the "caught" fish to give
it a bit of POP! I stamped a few fish on the inside,
as well as the sentiment "you're a REEL expert".

Here's my card for the challenge!
When I enjoy an image I really love to just kind of
spotlight it without a lot of other bling. This was one
of those images. Since I am enjoying my winter in
Florida, the beach is my primary focus when the sun
is shining. So...here I am! Ok, I am a far cry from
being that skinny but I am ready to play on the beach.
Copics were my coloring medium and I had to add
a sparkle to the beach ball using a glitter pen and some
lacquer for her glasses for the perfect finishing touches.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 330

Challenge 330 - say it with Words
Now for the challenge FUN from Tuesday Throwdown
and our awesome sponsor, Winnie and Walter!
Here's my card for the challenge.
I really love my Winner and Walter stamps and die cuts
so deciding what I wanted to do was relatively simple.
Since "saying it with words" was the theme this week,
and since there seems to be so much political outrage
in American, I figured KINDNESS is what's needed! So,
here it is. It "blooms in even the harshest of climate.
Perfect! I colored my cacti, or cactuses, using my Copic
markers and added some sequin flowers for the "bloom" effect.
I tore my kraft colored cardstock and sponged some brown on
the edges. The top piece is raised using mounting tape. I
sponged the sun using a bright yellow and a dauber.
The card was completed after a few simple layers.

A Card For A Challenge or More...

This card is entered in:
Cards and More #177 pets and other furry friends
Artbymiran Challenge #77 anything goes

Here's my card
I made 12 of this card, different little critters, all from
Fun Stampers Journey for my daughter, Amber. She
is sending them to children at a local Children's Hospital.
I can't remember what stamps the tree and the sentiment
are from...what can I say? I'm on vacation in Florida and
I seem to have left my brain at home. I colored the
images using my Copics and raised the fox for
dimension. A very simple card but I am sure the kids
will enjoy receiving them! Thanks for stopping by and

Here's my card for the challenge!
Sometimes I find some images just too cute for words,
and these little Flamingos are CUTE!! First I colored
them with my Copic markers and then tried to think
what to do next...hmmm...if I could only find just the
right pattern cardstock...DONE! Then I thought it
needed something, some kind of "pop". Ok, ribbon.
Ribbon is good, but it still needed something, so I
found an embellishment with just the perfect colors.
Ah, there, done...no, wait, it still needs something,
so I found a fun sentiment from Paper Smooches
that made me smile with these winter Flamingos and
no, I wasn't finished yet. EYES! They needed googly
eyes!! I think those eyes completed this fun card!
