I am a wife to Greg(for 49 yrs in 2021), mother to Heather and Amber (love my girls), Gamma to LJ, daughter to Marion (deceased in 2012 at 88 y/o, lived a life glorifying the Lord), sister to Paul and Samantha, aunt to Paula, Shelley (and fam) and Jeremy (and fam), Tuffy, the parakeet (2021) and most of all...a child of God, saved by grace through Christ Jesus. (Big Trees)


I really like this set, Big Trees, even though I only used ONE of the trees to make my card. I started by masking in the sky and hills. Then I stamped my trees in black. The "smaller" trees were stamped by using just the top of the large pine. I colored the trees using Copic markers YG95 and G94.  I then added my "lake" by masking over the lower hill and made a straight edge mask for the lake. I sponged in the blue, right over the trees and all. It didn't affect the colors of the trees at all. Then I stamped and cut out one large tree and mounted it on the right. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment came from MFP stamp set "Island Life" and glued (over a mistake) to front.  Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to check out all the other great blogs below!
