Here's my card to start you on your way!

I used two of the image stamps and make the shore line, and guess what??? I DIDN'T use my Copic markers! WHAT??? lol I was struggling with the coloring of the trees and was just beginning to get super frustrated when CHALKS came to mind. Yes, I said chalks! It had been forever since I played with them and now was the time. It was so very easy and the result was exactly what I was hoping for. I used tiny cotton balls to pick up the chalk color and smudged away. Yes, that was it. No worrying about coming outside of the lines. Almost a watercolor look. lol I should have added some red to the trees but I was satisfied. :-) I chalked some reflection to the water and then I used crystal lacquer to cover the water to give it a "wet" look.

A few layers of cardstock and a sentiment...boom, done!

I used the new stamp set
"Tree Scene"
