Here is my card for DAY 1!
I found some purple cardstock, I know it looks blue,
and embossed the upper part leaving a small part
plain at the bottom. I stamped my sentiment there.
I stamped this super cute Frankenstein and colored
him using Copic, adding a touch of glaze to his
eyes. I sponged purple ink around the white edge
and began to put my layers together, adding some
twine before gluing everything down.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to join in on the
hop and consider following my blog!
You will have until Friday, 3pm CT, Sept. 30th

So cool Pam! I love that Frankie with the blue background.
ReplyDeleteThat Frank is so cute. Love the background. Hugz
ReplyDeleteYour card is adorable. I also love this Frank image and the purple was perfect to showcase him. I think purple is definitely a hard color to photograph. My purple cards look blue in pictures, also.
ReplyDeletePam, I have trouble photographing purple too, but this Halloween card is a cutie none the less!
ReplyDeleteCute card. I just this last week re-read Frankenstein. So interesting that he never had a name and that the real monster was Frankenstein, the man who made him.
ReplyDeleteI love purple and green for Halloween. Cute card!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteVery cute, I have two nephews that would love this. TFS
ReplyDeleteVery cure card...I really like your color combinations
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet Frankenstein....how could anyone be scared of him?? Love the color combination and the embossed paper!
ReplyDeleteLiking that purple! Nice work here!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to emboss behind the image and not for the sentiment. Cute card!
ReplyDeleteGreat colors and great image!
ReplyDeleteFrank is cute. Love that you paired him with all of that purple. TFS
