Crafter's Companion Card for a Friend, of a Friend, to the Mother of the Friend

You will NOT want to miss out on all the fabulous Crafter's Companion products. AAAA-mazing stuff!!
You can also find Crafter's Companion products on HSN
Here's a card I made by request. A friend asked me to make a Mother's Day card for a friend to give to his mother. Since my mother has died I am delighted to try to bring some joy to another mother. Here's what I made.
I made the card 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 and scored some borders. Using the same cardstock I used I cut out the stunning floral using the new Crafter's Companion Die'sire, Floral Bouquet. It's a stunning diecut! Next, I took some vellum and use just the outer two die cut pieces for behind the main floral cut. I attached the two together by running the floral cut through my Xyron machine. I colored the flowers, from the back, using those awesome Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers. A few gems were added to complete the outside. For the inside I repeated the same process and used just part of the die cut to add to the inside of the card. Taking some Luxury Mirror Cardstock I die cut out my "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment. I added just a vellum piece of the floral die cut to add to the inside too. I made a coordinating envelope and my friend's, friend's, mother should be happy! LOL

Here are the products used to create this card.

    1. If you don't have the Gemini cutting machine, you have to shim it up as much as you can. ALSO, the dies, especially the intricate dies, you should have a metal shim under them to cut into. Hope this helps. The Gemini machine is worth it's weight in gold if you don't have one.
