PIP Challenge 2518

Our sponsor for the current challenge is...
Formerly, Penguin Palace, now
It's always fun getting to find new stuff
and a great sponsor as well! YAY!
Go shop at Sunbird Spark for some
awesome new stuff! I know I did! lol!
They've added plenty as well!
Here's my card for the challenge...

using "Bee Happy"

inside
I've been using this set Bee HappyA LOT
lately because it's such a fun set to work
with and I have many birthdays coming up.
Soooo, you will see more in the future.
Firstly, I found a printed background
paper that seemed like a good fit with
my little bees. Using the
right color to coordinate with the
background. I then cut another one
out of white so I had the white additions
to the card front. The white hexagon
will be used on another Bee day card.
There are matching
dies for the stamps. I colored all the
images with Copic markers and some of
the dotted bee trails were my own.  lol
The bees were raised up using mounting
tape. A touch of a clear sparkle pen on the
wings gave the finished bees a bit of
"bee"ling. tsk tsk. I added a couple
of flowers to finish the card.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see
your entries in the Current Challenge.

Here are my projects for this challenge...

These were soooo easy to make and fun too.
The Cutting Café offers so many ideas
and all you really need is paper, printer
and scissors. It's a great place for the
minimalist card makers. I printed my "notes"
on cardstock and layered them on
coordinating paper. I though about adding
some stamping on them but they looked
simply fine. I cut out the "cover", following
the pattern, onto a designer cardstock. I
found some cute flowers, clips, elastic ties,
and paper clips to use for closures. These
notes are little, so, perfect for your purses
or to insert into a card for mailing.

PIP Challenge 2516

PIP Challenge 2516 is sponsored by
The prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate from
YAY!!

Here's my card for inspiration...
My card is created using Varada Sharma
stamps. You can find her etsy store HERE
and her actual stamps HERE.
I'm not thrilled with the finished card.
I just don't feel I did the stamps justice.
I drew the black petal lines by hand. The
inks for the petals didn't have enough
contrasting colors. I added the white dots
and the corner dots n dashes.

Here's my Lawn Fawn creation
As always, I had a lot of fun playing with
my Lawn Fawn stamps. I needed an
entertaining birthday card and this one
turned out perfectly. I stamped my images
and die cut them out. They were then
colored using Copic markers. I had a
honey comb stencil that worked nicely
using LF inks. Mounting tape was used to
raise up the little bees and the honey
comb image. A couple of coordinating
papers created ideal layering.

PIP Challenge 2513

This week's PIP Challenge is a 5th Monday
and the THEME is RAIN.
It's sponsored by
The prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate from
YAY!!

Here's my card following the Theme:
RAIN
Using Newtons Nook Newtons Rainy Day
April showers bring May flowers, right?
I'm counting on that since I'm leaving
Florida tomorrow to head back chilly
Wisconsin. I used a rain drop stencil with
some blue inks. I stamped my kitty and
frog. Kitty was colored with Copic markers.
I stamped the kitty and frog again on my
green dot pattern paper. The frog's belly
needed a touch of pink though. The
umbrella was paper pieced with the
dotted pattern paper. I added the
sentiments and then raised up the critters.

😀

Here's a fun birthday card for a friend,
in WI, from me in FL. They are still getting
snow. hehe... As always, Newton's Nook has
always the right stamps, die cuts, and
great stencils. I used Sunscape Stencil, Gull
Friend (retired), and a Palm Tree set (retired).
Copics were used to color the gulls.
I used blending brushes to apply
my inks to the Sunscape stencil. The image
was die cut and raised up with mounting
tape for a tad bit of dimension.
I love all my goodies from Newton's Nook

PIP Challenge 2511

Welcome!
Time to join in the challenge with
Polkadoodles as this week's sponsor!!
YAY!
We REALLY appreciate our sponsors!

Here are my cards for this week's challenge

   using "Happy Easter Chick"
Be sure to visit Polkadoodles! They have
so much to choose from, for all your
creating fun!!!
For my icy snowman card I printed a winter
scene digital paper. After I printed out my
snowy guy he was colored with Copic
markers. The image was fussy cut out and
I raised the image up with mounting tape.
The layers were created to match the
background and a crystal Stickle was used
to highlight the ice and snow.
My grandson was the one to get this
card. I miss him since I've been
in FL since Jan. 1st, not
home until April 3. He does get lots of
goody gifts from me, and Grandpa.

For the Easter chick card, which my grandson
will also receive, I found a great background
paper. Not sure if it was digital or actual.
LOL! The cute image was colored with
TriBlend markers, with a few ink dashed
corners. Easy peasy!!
