PIP Challenge 2513

This week's PIP Challenge is a 5th Monday
and the THEME is RAIN.
It's sponsored by
The prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate from
YAY!!

Here's my card following the Theme:
RAIN
Using Newtons Nook Newtons Rainy Day
April showers bring May flowers, right?
I'm counting on that since I'm leaving
Florida tomorrow to head back chilly
Wisconsin. I used a rain drop stencil with
some blue inks. I stamped my kitty and
frog. Kitty was colored with Copic markers.
I stamped the kitty and frog again on my
green dot pattern paper. The frog's belly
needed a touch of pink though. The
umbrella was paper pieced with the
dotted pattern paper. I added the
sentiments and then raised up the critters.

😀

in WI, from me in FL. They are still getting
snow. hehe... As always, Newton's Nook has
always the right stamps, die cuts, and
great stencils. I used Sunscape Stencil, Gull
Friend (retired), and a Palm Tree set (retired).
Copics were used to color the gulls.
I used blending brushes to apply
my inks to the Sunscape stencil. The image
was die cut and raised up with mounting
tape for a tad bit of dimension.
I love all my goodies from Newton's Nook

PIP Challenge 2511

Welcome!
Time to join in the challenge with
Polkadoodles as this week's sponsor!!
YAY!
We REALLY appreciate our sponsors!

Here are my cards for this week's challenge

   using "Happy Easter Chick"
Be sure to visit Polkadoodles! They have
so much to choose from, for all your
creating fun!!!
For my icy snowman card I printed a winter
scene digital paper. After I printed out my
snowy guy he was colored with Copic
markers. The image was fussy cut out and
I raised the image up with mounting tape.
The layers were created to match the
background and a crystal Stickle was used
to highlight the ice and snow.
My grandson was the one to get this
card. I miss him since I've been
in FL since Jan. 1st, not
home until April 3. He does get lots of
goody gifts from me, and Grandpa.

For the Easter chick card, which my grandson
will also receive, I found a great background
paper. Not sure if it was digital or actual.
LOL! The cute image was colored with
TriBlend markers, with a few ink dashed
corners. Easy peasy!!

I want to thank our wonderful sponsor
for the current challenge...
Be sure to pop over and check out all the
fabulous digis they have!
In fact, gcheck them out now!

Here's my card for inspiration.
I had fun with this little guy. I made
the card for my sweet nephew who is
a soccer player. I added his number,
27, and used his colors and the striping
to match his uniform. I printed the image
and used a die cut rectangle to cut it out.
Using my Copic markers I colored him.
A white gel pen added the number to the
shorts and streaks in his hair. I stamped
a Happy Birthday and used another
die cut to finish it out. Just a bit of
layering and coordinating papers were
enough to complete the card.

PIP Challenge 2508

Here's a brand new challenge that is
sponsored by PIP Challenges, offering
a $10 Gift Certificate from MFT.
Being in Florida for the next 3 months
gives me more time just to create. It's been cool
so far so it's ideal for getting in my
comfy clothes and getting inky! Soooo, here's
my card, that I will send to my sweet
5 year old grandson back in Wisconsin.
I miss that little buddy!
Here's my card...
I had fun making this card, beginning with
a random stencil and MFT Inks to apply.
I colored the sweet images with my Copics.
I paper pieced my little guy's jacket with the
it as a background accent. Mounting tape
was used to raise up my boy and the sweet
little squirrel for some added dimension.
I couldn't find the set to link
to on MFT but they have lots of goodies!

A brand new challenge over at PIP Challenges.

This week's sponsor is
If you haven't checked out SheepSki Designs
new blog site, be sure to go now! It's really good!
Here's my card using Wild Rose Heart
I loved this image and it was perfect
for my niece's birthday on Valentine's
Day. Purple is the amethyst birth stone
color. I used my TriBlend markers to
color this. The sentiment was from
another stamp company but ended up
being a perfect addition for this card.
I made some coordinating layers and
used a white gel pen for some dots on
pretty heart. Be sure to go and visit
Sheepski Designs. There so many awesome
digital images! So much fun and so very
reasonable too! PIP appreciates the support!

Another Challenge Entry

It's fun being able to have time to join
in some of the challenges! MFT is just
one of my favorite shops so I am glad to
participate in the current Color challenge.

Here's my card...
This color challenge was fun for me
because I love these colors. LOL! I am
sending this card to a stamping friend.
I used MFT paper and the stamp set
JB Crafty Friends. Images were colored
with TriBlend and Copic markers.
A white gel pen added a few extra
touches and mounting tape to lift the
cute images up for dimension. I made
a banner for the sentiment to complete
the card. Thanks for stopping by.

Here's my project
I used quite a variety of sets to create
this card and that just goes to show that
I own plenty of Lawn Fawn goodies...
basically I own LOTS of goodies in
general! LOL! A random stencil was
used to make my wall, using a gray ink.
I stamped and die cut my images and
colored them using my Copics. The
"just a note" sentiment came from...
somewhere. Wish I could remember. 😣
The card was super easy and it got sent
to a friend that needed a lift. Be sure
to go shopping at Lawn Fawn because
they've got it all to meet your needs.

A Challenge Card for Me...finally

It's been forever since I've found time to
actually enter a challenge. Generally I'm too
busy trying to keep the PIP Challenges
running smoothly and sometimes that's
an issue for me. LOL! Anyway, on that note,
here's my card for the current
Since I'm in Florida for 3 months I'm
missing my 5 1/2 year old grandson and
this card is going to him. I used the
MFT Pig Time Fun set, that I am guessing
it must be retired. I had fun creating this
piggy card. I used MFT Sand, Surf, & Sky
pattern paper pad. I colored the images
with my Copic markers and began to
assemble the card to match the sketch...
sort of. lol. I raised up the sentiment
banner, the sea gulls and one cloud for
the added dimension I like.
I am also entering this card in the

sparkle to the Bee's wings to complete
the card after raising up a few bees.
