Monday theme: Apples
I love Fall and the colors of Fall AND
apples! LOL! I colored this image, from
Pattie's Creations, with my Copics. I
printed out 2 images and cut out the main
pumpkin so I could mount it up for
dimension. I scored some lines and added
some twine and leaf charms. Then a few
white gel pen highlights.
I always find lots of great images for
any occasion at Pattie's Creations.

Here's my card...following the 5th
Monday theme: WATER
featuring Silly Fisherman
This was made for my fish loving
hubby's birthday. He fishes a lot and I
love that he does because he takes so
many stunning scenery photos, and even
some of fish he's caught. He's a catch and
release fisherman. Neither of us like to
clean fish. hehe.
Anyway, I used Copic markers to color
the image and used a ragged die cut.
The edge was sponged with coordinating
inks to help it stand out against the
background paper. I made the sentiment
myself and found some fun fish designer
cardstock to accent the card. The sentiment
was raised up with mounting tape.
I always find lots of great images for
any occasion at Pattie's Creations.

PIP Challenge 2613 with a Theme - SPRING

a 5th Monday with a theme...
SPRING
and is sponsored by

Here's my card for inspiration...
I've been super busy since my brother
passed away and I appreciate those of you
that sent me prayers and well wishes.
Needless to say I haven't had anytime to
be creative so I used my hubby's May
birthday card. Spring in WI always
requires a good lawn cutting but being
bird and pollinator fans we practice
NO MOW MAY so our dandelions get
a growth time so bees can enjoy them first.

This fun image and was perfect for a
SUNNY birthday wish for a friend.
I used a sun die cut on bright yellow
cardstock. I had a pretty ocean/sky
designer paper that the sunny cutout
was attached to. The image was cut out
using my Scan n Cut then colored with
my Copic markers. It was attached to
the card with mounting tape and the
birthday sentiment was stamped right
on the sun to complete the card.

PIP Challenge 2439, with a COLOR theme

This week's PIP Challenge is a 5th Monday
and the THEME is an inspiration challenge.
It's sponsored by
The prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate from
YAY!!

Here is my project for the challenge...
following the Colors:

I used Newton's Nook flowers and die cut
to create my card. I colored the image with
my Copics. I found a pattern paper that
looked like it would work for the color
choices for the challenge. I cut out an oval
and a bottom border. Then cut 2 ovals out
of white, one for the random sentiment and
one for behind the flowers. A few white gel
dots were added to the flower's center and
a little satin bow completed the card.

Here's my creation for the challenge:
This is such a pretty digital image from
Pattie's Creations and it was perfect for
some August anniversaries coming up.
I printed the image and cut it out. My
Copics were used for the coloring. Using
a clear sparkle pen I filled in the hearts.
I embossed the hearts for a layered
background against the red. The sentiment
was stamped in a coordinating red to
finish the card. The sparkle pen really
added a great touch of bling.

PIP Challenge 2417 with a THEME: Inspiration

This week's PIP Challenge is a 5th Monday
and the THEME is an inspiration challenge.

YAY!!

Here is my project for the challenge...
following the INSPIRATION:

Sometimes paper can really put a card
together. My background was two
different cardstocks, one with the seagulls
and one with the wavy lines. Not quite
sure where I got my flamingo (I have LOTS
of those pink cuties) or the sentiment.
I colored my image with Copics and added
some clear gloss to the goggles.
I added my image to the card with a
bit of mounting tape. The sentiment was
stamped in a cornflower blue.
Boom! Finished!
