Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 313

Tuesday Throwdown
Challenge 313
-Fall Feathers-

Here's my card for the challenge!

I just LOVE this little image.
I enjoyed making this card because Fall cards are my
faves and I love birds, and this little guy is no exception!!
I colored the image using Copics and I added some
Copic Blending Solution to a terry cloth rag and pressed
it down on my acorn to give the acorn some texture.
I die cut my leaves out of pattern papers. I sponged
some brown inks around their edges and the edges
of my card layers. I embossed the main cardfront,
sponging a bit of brown ink on the raised edges.
I raised a couple of the leaves, using mounting tape.
I used some brown twine to wrap around the card,
adding a leaf charm to the knot. I fussy cut out my
colored image. I added mounting tape to the back of
the acorn, the bird I cut off separately. I then added
double mounting tape to the bird, to raise him up
higher. I added some feathers to the back of him
placed him on the acorn. I used some FSJ Glaze for
his eyes...just needed a bit of sparkle there. lol
