Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I followed the tutorial, as shown at top, and got my star die cuts out. I actually cut all 3 at the same time, one inside of the other, etc. I used a cloud embossing folder for the navy cardstock and attached the stars. I colored my moon with Copic markers and a clear sparkle pen for some shine. I mounted the moon and the sentiment to give some added dimension. I finished the card by layering. For the sentiment I only wanted the part I used, so I cut the stamp. I never mind cutting the stamps because they still lay together nicely if I want the whole thing in the future. If you don't want to cut the stamp, or it's just too close to cut without damaging it, just cover the part you don't want to stamp with a piece of paper, held by tape. Be careful to remove the paper after inking your stamp, then stamp.
Thanks for stopping by!
I used MFP stamp set "Sun & Moon".

ReplyDeleteGreat card!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of cutting the stamp. I agree, I love the first two lines but don't always want the rest of the sentiment. Thanks!
