the first time I gave them a shot. I followed them as
directed but results weren't to my liking. First of all it
seemed that my sponged colors should be a bit more to
the dark side, as in my card now. Also I got much better
results by misting the water right on my brass/metal
stencil and then placing it directly on my prepared
cardstock instead of laying the stencil on card then
misting. I would suggest trying some different ways
before preparing your actual card.
I used MFP stamp set "Flamingos On Vacation"

ReplyDeleteI'm glad your card turned out so pretty! I had difficulty too getting the misted patterns to show on the inked portions, but your tips are great for the next card I try with this technique!
