MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 287

Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 287
- follow these directions-

Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!

Here's my sample for Mark's Finest Papers design team.

Following the directions didn't work out for me
the first time I gave them a shot. I followed them as
directed but results weren't to my liking. First of all it
seemed that my sponged colors should be a bit more to
the dark side, as in my card now. Also I got much better
results by misting the water right on my brass/metal
stencil and then placing it directly on my prepared
cardstock instead of laying the stencil on card then
misting. I would suggest trying some different ways
before preparing your actual card.

I used MFP stamp set "Flamingos On Vacation"

  4. I'm glad your card turned out so pretty! I had difficulty too getting the misted patterns to show on the inked portions, but your tips are great for the next card I try with this technique!
