I rummaged through my paper drawer and found colors
that matched, pretty closely, the colors for the challenge.
Then I needed an idea...ummm...so, I checked through
my die cuts to see what I could use and I found this sun
burst, but then what??? I managed to get my layers set
and then I struggled some more. sigh...Finally after
going through my MFP stamps I saw the sentiment and
thought, "this will work"...somehow. I found a butterfly
and used Stampin'Up markers to apply ink directly to
the stamp and then I "huffed" a bit of moisture to the
stamp and ink and STAMPED!
I like the watercolor look and the soft colors. I added
it to my card using a bit of mounting tape and
rounding the wings a tad.

Pink

Pink isn't my favorite color to work with and all I
could think of that's pink, besides flowers, are PIGS!
I can probably relate more to the pigs than pink...
boy, there's a revelation!! YIKES! I did have fun
coloring the pigs using Copics. I chose my papers
and made some pink banners, that I ran through
an embossing folder. I stamped my sentiment
and completed assembling the card.

Today's Challenge is

***COLOR***
ORANGE

Here's my sample card as a design team member
for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head

Color challenges can be the easiest for me because
it already takes much of my decision making away.
hehehe
This one is no exception. I picked out my papers
first, and ribbon. Then I inked up the medallion
stamp with a matching orange ink and stamped off
on a separate piece of paper then stamped my card.
I stamped the flower in black and colored it with
Copic markers. I added the ribbon and sentiment
and put all my layers together. I think I could use
this card, made in other colors and sentiments for
many different types of cards, like sympathy,
birthday, get well, etc. Ok...no guy cards though.

MFP Stamps Challenge 30

MFP Stamps Challenge 30
Color is TAN
Remember you can use black and a small amount of one other color
Here's my sample card as a design team member for Mark's Finest Papers! Thanks for looking and head on over to JOIN IN the challenge fun!
I was wondering if I'd like a card made mainly
of TAN but I found that I really do. I began by
running my light tan cardstock through an embossing
folder and using a tan Copic marker to color the
flowers. Then I stamped 3 flowers and colored
them using the same Copic tan marker. Once I fussy
cut them I them raised them using mounting tape.
I stamped my sentiment and added my layer
tan cardstock and put in some tan colored pearls
for the delicate touch of a soft bling.
That was it! Glad you stopped by...now...

MFP Stamps Challenge 26 - Color Challenge

MFP Stamps Challenge 26
Color is WHITE
Remember you can use black and a small amount of one other color

I love white on white and this couldn't get much easier.
I ran a layer of white through an embossing folder and
layered that on black. I always love how the black makes
the white, or colors, pop! I added some white (yes, it is
white, not pink like it seems. lol) ribbon. I stamped
my camellia and colored it using Copics. I used some
light grays and a very light green. I raised the flower
using mounting tape and DONE!
